Advent Calendar - Week 3.
Advent Calendar day 15 - Treat yourself as your client.
Think about how you bend over backwards for others.
There is nothing wrong with it, though sometimes you end up feeling stressed, out of shape and in need of a break.
Think again about how you bend over for everyone. Why not do this for yourself?
You write a list for Santa? Try writing down 3 personal things you wish to achieve each week.
We share regular content on our Instagram - with posts about things like this...
Advent Calendar day 16 - Never Stop Playing.
Look how happy children are at Christmas. Presents unwrapped. Wrappers everywhere!
About to get enjoyment out of their new present...
Except suddenly they are now sitting in the box they opened, pretending its a race car, or a plane!
This my friends, is imagination and being creative.
As Albert Einstein said"Creativity is contagious, pass it on."
Think about how you were as a child? The world was new and you could be anything you wanted to be.
Eventually that was taught out of you? Sound familiar?
Schedule play time, do something fun each week, as this will help you get creative again.
If anything, it can be a great laugh.

Advent Calendar day 17 - Discipline.
Life needs a balance, to balance you need discipline.
To shift the Christmas weight, a January is normally spent in a gym. If you keep this consistency going, you won't need to worry about what you eat (too much...)
To get disciplined, look into planning your week, everyday learning, movement, sleep patterns and focusing on your happy.
With some discipline, you won't feel stretched as you will be making small changes each day
Check out this blog on Balance Through Simplicity, that gives great solutions to common time wasters, so you can start your discipline journey.
Advent Calendar day 18 - Getting Creative.
Let the imagination flow.
I am with this picture, is Batman here to save Christmas or is Santa dropping presents into Gotham City?
Creating a storyline that takes me away from reality, it is great for a break.
Have you always wanted to write a book? Get the pen to paper and start.
When was the last time you picked up that guitar in the corner?
Is that your favourite song on the radio? Dance!
Why?
As soon as you start getting creative, you are bringing joy into your life. Your mental wellbeing improves significantly.
Get creative, your best ideas will flow from it!

Advent Calendar day 19 - Books.
Reading is brilliant for the soul. If you are looking for a gift for someone this Christmas, choose a good book.
I have read a lot of Self Development and Mindset books over the last few years. I have read lots in 2020. Here are some of my favourites.
The 4 Hour Work Week - Tim Ferriss
The Personal Business Plan - Stephen Bruyant Langer
How to Win Friends and Influence People - Dale Carnegie
Atomic Habits - James Clear
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck - Mark Manson
Outwitting the Devil - Napoleon Hill
Taming Tigers - Jim Lawless
The Power of Habit - Charles Duhigg
Eat That Frog - Brian Tracy
&
The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People - Stephen Covey.
Add to your list for 2021.
Advent Calendar day 20 - Podcasts.
Podcasts became a part of my daily routine a few years ago, I find them amazing to listen to, when doing other things.
For example - When you wake up in morning, put on a Podcast. Whilst you are getting ready you start to learn.
Driving somewhere? Put on the Bluetooth.
At the gym? Why not learn whilst getting healthy in body (and mind!)
Need an escape from the repetitive Christmas songs on the stereo!?!?!?! PODCAST!!
The top ones I recommend are:
The School of Greatness - Lewis Howes
On Purpose - Jay Shetty
The Tim Ferriss Show
The Tony Robbins Podcast
Where do you start?
One of my favourite episodes recently with Lewis Howes with Matthew McConaughey, on the School of Greatness.
Enjoy.
Advent Calendar day 21 - TV & Films.
Everyone loves a Christmas movie don't they?!
You have seen 4 today already? Ok, ok!
Some stuff I would recommend this year, with a Nota9to5kindoflifestyle twist on it.
The Queens Gambit - a lesson in Visioning.
The Last Dance - Leadership, visioning and a will to win.
The Defiant Ones - making things happen massively with BIG goals.
Bobby Robson: More Than a Manager - Leadership and Principle.
White Lines - Choosing your own path in life and allowing change into it.
The Playbook: A Coach's Rule for Life - installing winning mentality and team spirit. Also knowing when to let go.
